At synka, we actively take responsibility for environmental and climate protection. As an IT service provider, we are aware that technological development and sustainable action must be closely linked. In order to effectively reduce our CO₂ footprint, we have set up our own nature reserve. This area is specifically used to offset CO₂ emissions and to promote regional ecological projects.
We also support Umweltinstitut München e.V., an organization that is committed to environmental, climate and consumer protection. This partnership enables us to directly participate in effective projects and make a concrete contribution to a more sustainable future. With these measures, we as a company not only want to set an example, but also to inspire others to act more sustainably.
At synka, promoting young talent is particularly important to us. One outstanding example of this is our support for young racing driver Niklas Koch from Riedstadt. Born on May 20, 2001 in Darmstadt, Niklas began his motorsport career in kart slalom and kart racing before entering automotive racing in 2018. Since then, he has continued to develop and achieved impressive success.
Among other things, Niklas competed in the DMV BMW Challenge, where he competed in the GTR2 class with his characteristic green MINI Turbo GTR. His performances took him all the way to the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), where he competed in the Cup2 class for the Smyrlis Racing Team in 2025 on a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992). His commitment and successes are also reflected in numerous awards, including the ADAC Youth Sports Badge in Gold since 2013 and the DOSB Sports Badge in Gold, which he received a total of 17 times from 2008 to 2024.
Our partnership with Niklas Koch is an expression of our commitment to promoting young talent. We are proud to accompany and support Niklas on his journey in motorsport. His passion, ambition and successes are inspiring and exemplify the values that we want to promote at synka.
